3M™ Bitter Sensitivity Solution, 55 mL Bottle, EA is used during the sensitivity-screening stage of qualitative respirator fit testing. The solution helps establish the test subject’s ability to detect the bitter taste of denatonium benzoate before the actual fit-test solution is administered.
The sensitivity solution is intended for occupational use with compatible 3M™ qualitative fit-testing equipment. It supports proper administration of bitter-taste respirator fit-testing protocols for particulate respirators and gas or vapor respirators equipped with particulate prefilters.
