20. Long Description
The 3M™ Comply™ Bowie-Dick Plus Test Pack with Early Warning Test Sheet is designed to monitor air-removal efficiency in 132°–134°C (270°–273°F) dynamic-air-removal steam sterilizers.
MPN 00135LF incorporates both a primary Bowie-Dick test sheet and an early-warning indicator sheet. The early-warning feature is designed to help identify developing air-removal problems before they become evident on the primary test sheet, supporting scheduled sterilizer maintenance and reducing the risk of unexpected equipment-performance failures.
The test pack detects residual air associated with conditions such as air leaks, inadequate air removal, and inadequate vacuum. Under satisfactory test conditions, the primary indicator sheet develops a uniform dark brown/black appearance.
00135LF uses lead-free indicator ink, provides a test sheet suitable for record retention, and has a manufacturer-stated two-year shelf life. It complies with ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11140-5:2007 and is categorized as a Type 2 special indicator under ISO 11140-1:2014.
Each bag contains 6 individual test packs, with 5 bags per case / 30 test packs per case.

Warnings
Use only with compatible dynamic-air-removal steam sterilizers and according to the manufacturer's Instructions for Use.
Run the test for 3.5 minutes at 132°–134°C (270°–273°F). If the sterilizer timer requires full-minute settings, the test may be run for 4 minutes.
Do not process for longer than 4 minutes; results will be invalid.
Inspect the package indicator before use. Do not use a test pack if the indicator has already changed from yellow to light brown or darker before processing.
Store under recommended room conditions and protect from direct light. Do not store near strong alkaline or acidic materials such as cleaning products or disinfectants.
