Crosstex Duo-Check™ Self-Sealing Sterilization Pouches provide a professional packaging solution for reusable medical, dental, and surgical instruments requiring steam or ethylene oxide (EO) gas sterilization. Measuring 5¼" x 15", these pouches are designed to support safe and efficient instrument preparation, processing, handling, and storage in healthcare environments.

Each Duo-Check™ pouch combines durable medical-grade paper with a transparent, blue-tinted film that allows healthcare professionals to identify packaged instruments and visually inspect the packaging for damage. The extra-wide chevron seal, reinforced edges, and six corner tack seals help maintain package integrity during sterilization and subsequent handling.

The wide self-sealing adhesive strip and perforated fold provide convenient closure without requiring a heat-sealing machine. A built-in thumb notch and easy-peel construction facilitate opening and instrument presentation following processing.

Duo-Check™ pouches incorporate internal and external Type 1 chemical process indicators compatible with steam and EO sterilization. These indicators provide visual confirmation of exposure to the designated sterilization process. When properly processed, sealed, and stored, the packaging is designed to maintain sterility for up to three years, provided pouch integrity remains uncompromised and applicable facility protocols are followed.

Designed for use in hospitals, dental practices, surgical centers, outpatient facilities, physician offices, and central sterile processing departments, Duo-Check™ pouches support standardized instrument sterilization workflows.

• Pouches are supplied nonsterile and are intended for packaging instruments before processing through an appropriate sterilization cycle.

• Use only with compatible steam or ethylene oxide (EO) sterilization processes, following the manufacturer's current Instructions for Use.

• Select a properly sized pouch to allow appropriate placement and sterilant circulation around the instruments.

• Inspect the pouch before use. Do not use damaged, torn, punctured, or otherwise compromised packaging.

• Follow the manufacturer's instructions for folding and sealing the adhesive flap to achieve a complete closure.

• Do not overload the pouch or position sharp instruments where they may compromise packaging integrity.

• Follow the facility's validated sterilization procedures for loading, cycle selection, processing, and drying.

• Internal and external Type 1 chemical process indicators confirm exposure to the designated sterilization process. Indicator color change alone does not establish sterility.

• Inspect the pouch after processing to verify dryness, seal integrity, packaging condition, and appropriate indicator response.

• Do not use a processed pouch if the package becomes wet, damaged, opened, or otherwise compromised.

• Store in a clean, dry environment protected from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.

• Sterility maintenance depends on proper processing, handling, storage, and package integrity.

• Single-use product. Do not reuse sterilization pouches.
