McKesson Prevent MX Safety Scalpels No. 10, 11 & 15 – BX/10EA combine surgical-grade stainless-steel blades with ergonomic sensory-grip handles and an integrated retractable safety mechanism. Available in No. 10, No. 11, and No. 15 blade configurations, the product family allows healthcare professionals to select the appropriate blade geometry for the intended surgical or procedural application.
The integrated safety mechanism provides three operating positions—USE, PASS, and DISPOSE—to support controlled blade handling throughout the procedure. The blade locks securely into the operating position during use, while the final disposal position permanently retracts and locks the blade within the handle. Each single-piece scalpel is sterile, individually pouched, disposable, and not made with natural rubber latex.
